Fuxion
It’s been almost a year since we looked at Fuxion, a new-ish nutraceutical drink company that offers healthy drink sachets to mix in water. Last time we looked at the company there were a few issues concerning its move into the USA market.
Let’s see if they’ve made any improvements in their USA outreach over the past year. But first, a recap and perhaps a few points we only partially skimmed over last time.
The Company
Fuxion’s presence in the world extends from Chile, up the west coast of South America, skipping most of Central America, then into Mexico and the United States. It’s a Peruvian company. They’ve been in business since 2010, only expanding to the US in the last year or so.
There’s still no USA phone number on the Facebook page, which by the way is still 100% Spanish. The Fuxion blog is 100% in Spanish.
The Products
Fuxion claims they use patented technology but there are no details to back up that claim. They also claim to have hundreds of millions of dollars worth of research backing the patents that support their products. It’s also claimed that there are more than 1500 active ingredients in their products, all derived from nature.
There is an image slider on their “Science” page showing names of popular superfood ingredients (acai, camu camu, green tea, passion fruit extract etc) but there is no direct tie-in to the actual Fuxion products.
It gets worse. Click over to the “Products” page and you get even less information. There are only three short paragraphs containing feel-good statements about natural ingredients, plus a dead “Product Catalog” link.
At this point, most prospective customers/affiliates would be “outta here” pretty quick. But since I’m really digging to find out what kind of MLM would hide all its info, I eventually realize that on the nav menu there’s a sub-heading called “Key Products”.
Click that and you do get a list of products, each with a short paragraph about its general properties. General properties only though. For example, about the product called “Veramas”, we learn only that vitamins are good for you, the product contains an immuno-enhancer based on beta glucans, and it protects against colds. Plus, it contains aloe, camu camu, vitamin C and amino acids.
And so on for each product. There are no links for purchasing, nor any info whatsoever on how to get in touch with someone who sells the products, which are:
- Ganomas (Enhanced coffee) $25 (PV 12)
- Termo Te (weight loss) $45
- Vita Energia Xtra T (energy)
- Veramas (immune)
- On (brain enhancer)
- Off (brain enhancer)
- Probal (hormonal balancing)
- Te NoCarb
- Liquid Fibra (cleanse)
- RGX1 (digestive health)
There is a 100% 30 day money-back guarantee (minus shipping charges) on products for INITIAL purchases.
The Opportunity
The Fuxion compensation plan is based on a hybrid binary model. It’s stated that sales will net you up to 43% commission and team volume nets you up to 57%, but it doesn’t say what rank you need to achieve in order to get those top commission rates.
In fact, the compensation plan doesn’t reveal anything except what you just read.
Enrollment is free, but you are unable to finish the enrollment process without putting product into your shopping cart. You must also purchase an Enrollment Kit. It includes training materials and business support literature.
Business tools cost as following:
- Catalogue: $4.50 (10 for $35)
- Business Kit: $40
- Sales System: $80
There may be fees for issuing commissions and bonus payments- it’s written into the affiliate agreement Fuxion distributors must sign.
Verdict
Fuxion does not seem to be making much effort to extend their reach to non-Spanish speaking MLMers in the US, which seems very limiting and short-sighted. Or maybe they’re keenly aware of the stiff competition in nutrition drinks, so they’ve decided to concentrate on a targeted market: latinos.
In the Fuxion “Beliefs” section, there is a statement that maybe explains it as the latter case:
“…we are LATINOS and take our example of love and as better to live in the whole world, saying “We improve your life!”.
Whatever the case, they haven’t made any changes in their program or their website during the past year.
