5 Figure Day

5 Figure Day is a list-building system that serves as a commission-building sales funnel for whoever uses it.  There is also an affiliate opportunity where members earn cash for promoting the program.

Who Is Bryan Winters?

The company is Bryan Winters, an internet marketing with a rags-to-riches story.  He started out as a factory worker (plastic fabrication).  In his spare time he’d venture into figuring out how to make money online.

After several attempts he finally hit it with Push Button Publishing, a business system for online marketers.  Run as a membership, it serves as an incubator for budding online entrepreneurs.  They get website templates, auto responders and the like.

He also runs similar product websites like Push Button Leads, One Minute Sites, and Million Dollar Traffic.  They all seem to do the same thing: help paid members set up, run, and benefit from online sales funnels.

The Products

5 Figure Day is a mix of software and marketing tips designed to rev up email signups and commission sales for online businesses.

The fee for 5 Figure Day is $97 per month.  Here’s what you get:

• new traffic-forwarding websites every month
• hosting
• training on how to use paid advertising to promote your website
• info on how to use ad swaps
• training on other types of marketing like video traffic, solo ads, article marketing and blogging

By paying to become a member, you get to use those free website templates to give away.  What you’re doing is essentially giving away the free version of 5 Figure Day to people who are interested in making money online.  From that little enticement, you’re building a valuable (?) list, and hence leads.

In addition, there is an upsell which costs a one-time fee of $97.

The 5 Figure Day Opportunity

Affiliates may sign up through ClickBank and start promoting the 5 Figure Day program with their affiliate link.  Signing up is free, and for every click you generate for the product, you get $2.02.

The commission is pretty high: 50%.  So, for every referral you make, you’re getting $48.50 per month*.

Not only that, but the commission is recurring (monthly) so affiliates can look forward to residual income from one original referral.  There is no limit as to how many referrals you can earn commissions from.

*One thing to note is that a merchant fee is taken out of every commission, to the actual amount you’ll net is slightly lower than $48.50.

The upsell also earns you commission at the 50% rate.  Keep in mind, however, that this is only a one-time fee and won’t be recurring.

The folks at 5 Figure Day also mention that there’s hidden opportunity in their affiliate program.  This op comes in the form of an email list.  By making contact with people who are interested in 5 Figure Day, you’re not only benefiting from their payments when you make commission, you also have their emails.

If you’ve ever worked with a ClickBank product before, you’ll know that ClickBank pays on time.  Also, you may choose checks or automatic bank deposit.

The banners and emails generated for use by 5 Figure Day affiliates seem to be targeting divorced men with alimony payments.  If, like me, you’re not quite sure on the connection there, just go with it.  They probably know their demographic!

The Verdict On 5 Figure Day

The whole thing is a bit circular, but it can work.  Customers become affiliates and affiliates become customers.  That’s because once you’re an affiliate, Bryan Winters suggest all sorts of ways to promote your affiliate link and of course you’re using the 5 Figure Day websites to promote 5 Figure Day itself!

These traffic-generating ideas include paid traffic sources which of course you buy from some division of the Bryan Winters empire.  He also recommends Charlie Page’s Directory of Ezines to promote your 5 Figure Day websites.

He also includes a link to Paul Nicholl’s $10 download of email lists for promoting your sites.  In fact, his tips for affiliates page is full of links to other sites where you can get “help” or download products.  It could be another layer of affiliates- so circular my head is spinning!

But that’s not to say it doesn’t all work.  At $97 a month, however, you’d better figure that out quickly before your 5 figure day turns into the day you get your credit card bill and there are several month’s worth of monthly payments plus all the traffic sources you bought to make it all work out.
