DraftOrPass Review

DraftOrPass is yet another daily fantasy sports website that works in a similar way to bigger rivals like DraftKings and FanDuel. Here’s our DraftOrPass review.

What is DraftOrPass?

DraftOrPass is a daily fantasy sports website that offers daily contests, daily winners, and daily payouts much like the household names Fanduel and Draftkings.

The site supports all of the following sports and leagues: NFL, CFB, MLB, NHL, NBA, and MLS.

There are two broad types of games: salary games and “pick em with” games. You can also choose from unique payouts like “double up”, “triple up”, “one winner” and “tiered”.

How Does DraftOrPass Work?

Most of the pools work in a similar way: you buy-in to a pool, pick players based on a salary cap system, then hope your players do enough fantasy stuff to give you more points than everyone else in the pool.

In DraftOrPass fantasy football, for example, a pass TD is worth 4 points, an interception is -1, and a return TD is 6 points. If you’ve ever gone near a fantasy sports website, then you probably already have these values memorized.

Where DraftOrPass gets interesting, however, is in its Pick’em games. Here’s how those games work:

Step 1) You pick a star “who’s going to kill it tonight”

Step 2) You assign a goal to that star. The harder that goal is, the more bonus points it will be worth. The website uses fantasy football as an example. If you pick Tom Brady and select the goal of two rushing or passing touchdowns, then that’s worth 5 points. If you select the goal of 4 rushing or passing touchdowns, then that’s worth 12 points. You can also choose to play by yards, where 250 passing yards are worth 5 points and 350 passing yards are worth 12 points

Step 3) Fill up your lineup with more stars. You need five stars to fill your roster.

Step 4) “Win Cash”

How to Join DraftOrPass

DraftOrPass is currently offering a $5 real cash credit at signup with no deposit required. That’s rare for a fantasy sports website – but we’re seeing all sorts of crazy bonuses in the exploding DFS industry, so it’s not that unusual.

DraftOrPass is open to residents of Canada and the United States. In Canada, residents from all provinces and territories can join. In the United States, however, DraftOrPass has the same restrictions as most DFS websites, where residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Tennessee, Vermont, Nevada, Washington, and Puerto Rico cannot participate in daily fantasy sports (these states consider DFS to be a form of gambling).

You must also be at least 18 years of age to join DraftOrPass (19 years of age in Alabama and Nebraska).

If you refer a friend, then you can also get $10 cash added to your account.
